Q. Hello,
what will the costs be for transporting the Lincoln house to Belgium (nearby Aachen, Germany)? And if we want two Lincoln houses?
Are the pipes for plumming and heating, and the cables for electric, and so on, allready installed and if not do we have to drill this into the wood?
Is it possible to make a cellar first, on which the Lincoln then is placed?
How long do we have a warranty on the house(s)? And what is includes into this warranty?
How many times do we have to treat the wood from the outside and with what?
Regards Jean.
A. None of the services are laid in the cabin. It is best to surface mount and cover.
As long as the cellar provided a firm and level base onto which the cabin was positioned then there should be no problem - you would need to consult with a structural engineer for peace of mind.
The warranty on all untreated wood is five years - looked after with regular treatment, your cabin will last esily in excess of 15 years
